Maternal and Child Health Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated professional to contribute to the work of our dedicated team in the role of Maternal and Child Health Nurse.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing Universal Maternal and Child Health activities, including appropriate and timely referral and support for young children and their families.
This is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in our community and improve outcomes in the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities- Promotion and delivery of health services to all families ensuring universal access.
- Ongoing monitoring and assessment of children to enable identification of those who require further assistance and support.
- Implementation of strategies to bring families together and foster social networks and strengthen community connections.
- Provision of additional support to families where necessary.

Requirements- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Skills in assessment, case management and referral.
- Knowledge of current issues affecting Maternal and Child Health Services.
- An understanding of confidentiality and Mandatory Reporting requirements.
