We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Alliance Airlines. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of our facilities, including performing routine maintenance tasks, inspecting equipment and facilities, and responding to maintenance requests.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry repairs, as well as painting and finishing repairs.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and prolong the life of equipment and facilities.
- Maintenance Requests: Respond to urgent maintenance issues reported by staff or residents promptly and effectively.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Monitor and replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies, maintain inventory records, and communicate supply needs to the supervisor.
- Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and standards at all times, follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other staff members and departments to ensure efficient operations, support special cleaning and maintenance projects as assigned.
- Experience: Previous experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.
- Physical Stamina: Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, as required.
- Qualifications: Ability to pass background checks or medical screenings as required by the employer, driver's license, and Covid vaccination.
