Key Role in Horticulture Services

We are seeking an experienced Agronomist to play a pivotal role in providing advanced agronomic advice and solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with demonstrated ability to develop business plans and build strong relationships with customers.

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advanced agronomic advice and solutions to horticulture customers
  • Developing and executing business and key customer management plans in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Identification of growth opportunities and participating in a collaborative team to meet shared objectives
  • Maintaining industry and internal networks while keeping abreast of current trends

The ideal candidate will be motivated, results driven, willing to learn and have a keen interest in agricultural production and technology. A minimum 4 years' experience as an agronomist with a Bachelor of Science or equivalent is required. The candidate should also have expertise in plant and soil nutrition for perennial and annual horticulture crops.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Negotiation, influencing and communication skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with AgWorld or similar platforms

The successful candidate will work with a team of experienced agronomists to provide growers with the latest in agricultural technology including crop protection products, seed, fertiliser and plant nutrition services.
