Renewable Energy Development Specialist

The Renewable Energy Development role is a key contributor to the origination and early-stage development of renewable energy projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Site identification and screening.
- Land access agreements.
- Grid connection solutions.
- Early-stage planning processes.
This role works closely with senior management to progress projects from site identification through to feasibility/planning studies.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Tertiary qualification in a related field such as renewable energy, planning, environment, or geography.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient communication and written skills.

ResponsibilitiesThe Renewable Energy Development role involves:
- Supporting members of the technical team to develop layouts throughout the development process.
- Negotiating landowner agreements and supporting legal dealings.
- Managing external consultants to undertake studies throughout the development process.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Identifying and screening potential project sites.
- Developing robust business cases for greenfield prospect sites.
- Engaging with community groups and stakeholders.
