We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CHPP Superintendent to join our Sedgman Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embed a Safety-First Culture: Foster a culture where all employees are empowered to maintain clearly defined safety standards.
  • Optimize Plant Performance: Ensure plant operation provides optimum performance in terms of throughput, recovery, and operating costs.
  • Plan and Coordinate Activities: Support the maintenance and operational areas by planning and coordinating activities at site.
  • Resolve Operational and Maintenance Problems: Identify and resolve operational and maintenance problems, and recommend measures to improve the operation and condition of site equipment and machinery.
  • Build Capability: Coach, mentor, and provide technical advice to the site team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collate and Analyze Data: Timely collation, analysis, and sharing of key work management metrics on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement: Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities for production, quality control, maintenance, and operational nonconformities.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a trade certificate or degree qualification in engineering, with experience in the minerals process industry.
  • Previous senior experience directly supervising operations and/or maintenance employees.
  • A strong safety focus and excellent leadership, project management, time management, and negotiation skills.
