Asset and Property Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Facilities and Asset Manager to oversee the maintenance of public assets, including schools, hospitals, courts, and police stations. This role involves identifying areas of risk and opportunity in maintenance and capital works, developing plans to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement asset management plans to achieve commercial targets and optimize lifecycle costs.
- Support the delivery of property asset management's asset business plans and strategic initiatives.
- Analyse call-outs, reactive maintenance, and requests to inform departments on asset maintenance plans and preventative schedules.
- Provide technical, facilities management, and asset maintenance support to stakeholders.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure contracts are executed within scope.
- Support compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist with audits and inspections.
- Build positive relationships with agencies, sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Monitor and report on subcontracted providers' performance.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience in facilities management, asset management, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A current driver's license is required.
