Job Title:
Procurement SpecialistWe are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Specialist to join our high-performing team delivering complex Class 2 residential projects in Newcastle. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to landmark developments that shape the city skyline.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to take on a key role in the delivery of high-profile construction projects. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing subcontractor and supplier agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company policies, and supporting Project Managers with reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier agreements.
- Manage variations, progress claims, purchase orders, and cost reporting.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
- Support Project Managers with reporting, forecasting, and risk management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
- Play an integral role in delivering Class 2 residential projects on time and within budget.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Contracts Administrator in construction.
- Proven experience on Class 2 Residential Projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, financial reporting, and project controls.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and external stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred).
