Procurement Lead Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced procurement lead specialist to assume a leadership role in our close-knit team. About Your Role:
  • Set the Pace: Demonstrate exemplary safety practices, behavior, commitment, and attitude that foster a culture of excellence
  • Team Advancement: Participate in the development and implementation of functional team performance metrics
  • Strategic Improvement: Drive strategic improvement programs and lead process re-engineering and SOP implementation within the department
  • Mentorship: Mentor, guide, and support the Procurement Team in their daily activities and professional development
  • Order Verification: Verify and validate purchase orders in line with the business delegation of authority matrix
  • Order Management: Lead supplier order management, including expediting/rescheduling, tracking DIFOT performance, and conducting supplier audits

About You:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Strong background in developing and implementing performance metrics
  • Experience with driving strategic improvement programs
  • Ability to re-engineer processes and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Strong skills in verifying and validating purchase orders
  • Proficient in supplier management, including expediting/rescheduling, managing DIFOT performance, and conducting audits
