
Forecasting Specialist

This role entails developing precise demand forecasts and ensuring optimal supply planning across the global network.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a portfolio of brands, factoring in market trends and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with business objectives.
- Analyze demand variances, identify trends, and drive improvements in forecast accuracy.
- Monitor supply outlook and inventory levels to support supply planning and prevent stockouts.
- Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles, providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Communicate supply risks and implement recovery plans to mitigate disruptions.
- Maintain data integrity across planning systems, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage supply issues and ensure transparency throughout the organization.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting and inventory management, driving process efficiency and effectiveness.
- University degree in Supply Chain or related field, with a strong foundation in analytics and problem-solving.
- Experience in demand and supply planning, forecasting, and inventory management in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of customer service, order management, and physical distribution systems, with the ability to navigate complex logistics.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to build relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure, with a focus on delivering results-oriented solutions.
- Proficiency in planning tools and systems, including SAP, JDA Demand, BW, and Microsoft Office, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
