Role Overview
The Demand Manager will lead a team responsible for demand planning, overseeing the day-to-day process and guiding their members to achieve strategic deliverables.
A typical day involves managing and supporting team members, developing and maintaining forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading parts of the S&OP process, and driving process improvements within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support demand planning team members to achieve key operational and strategic deliverables.
- Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling forecast, ensuring alignment across functions and clear communication of forecast assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build an aligned demand plan.
- Lead parts of the monthly S&OP process and ensure adherence to key forecasting principles.
- Drive process improvements within own team and work closely with the broader Supply Chain Planning Team.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Prior experience as a Demand Manager, preferably in the FMCG or Consumer Goods Industry.
- A strong background in demand planning and statistical forecasting.
- Proven experience in managing small teams and excellent communication skills.
- The ability to influence key stakeholders and drive results-oriented decisions.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
