Digital Product Strategist

Overview

The Digital Product Strategist will be responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and management of digital payment systems. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders across departments to ensure the system meets the needs of all parties and complies with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the digital payment system
  • Define and track key success metrics for the digital product, using data to measure performance and inform decision-making
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their needs, and ensure their input is incorporated into the product development process
  • Advocate for the needs of end-users, ensuring the product is user-friendly, accessible, and meets their requirements
  • Collaborate with the product owner and development team to prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring that the most valuable features are delivered first
  • Work closely with the product owner to advise on planning, sprint development, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features
  • Ensure the product complies with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices, including data security and privacy requirements
  • Partner with operational leadership to implement and manage payment collection processes, ensuring efficient and secure handling of transactions
  • Coordinate the integration of the payment system with banking services, facilitating seamless transactions and data exchange
  • Monitor the performance of the digital payment system, using analytics and user feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with advisory and education teams to develop training and support for end-users and stakeholders, ensuring they can effectively use the system
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of agile development methodologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable tasks
  • Knowledge of financial systems and government accounting principles
  • Familiarity with data security and privacy regulations
  • Experience with payment collection processes and banking integration
