Job Description:

As a seasoned investment banking professional, you will have the opportunity to join a top 10 ranked corporate advisory firm in Sydney. With a strong and experienced team, this company is poised for growth and seeking a Director or equivalent to lead their ECM efforts.

The successful candidate will possess an established client base and a proven track record of originating and executing Advisory transactions in Australia. Your focus will be on driving the origination and execution of primary equity deals, including IPOs, placements, and capital raisings.

You will be a highly motivated and self-driven individual who thrives in a dynamic business environment. This role offers the chance to become a key contributor to a fast-growing and innovative company in Sydney.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with Corporate Clients in Australia and Asia, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • ECM Transactions: Originate and execute ECM and Advisory transactions, leveraging your expertise in deal origination, execution, and valuation methodologies.
  • Business Strategy: Contribute actively to the strategic direction of the business, providing insights and recommendations to drive growth and success.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Corporate Finance/ECM within an Investment Bank or Corporate Advisory firm.
  • Track Record: A proven track record of ECM and M&A origination, with a deep understanding of transactions, execution processes, and valuation methodologies.
  • Cross-Border Knowledge: Detailed knowledge of Corporate Finance, including cross-border transactions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to clients and stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience.
