About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Venue Manager to lead our team at Ryan Mitchell Swim Centre. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for the operational, financial, and program deliverables of the Centre during the Summer season.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Centre's day-to-day operations, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional results and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve Centre performance, revenue, and customer engagement.
- Manage Centre finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, evacuation procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, customers, and community groups.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Venue Manager who possesses excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Strong leadership experience with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and protocols.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates (or ability to obtain).
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Legal working rights in Australia.
