The Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Venue Manager to lead our team at Ryan Mitchell Swim Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management of our seasonal facility, ensuring exceptional customer experience and delivering operational, financial, and program objectives.

About You

We are looking for a leader who drives with vision and energy, passionate about leisure and wanting to join a growing organisation. You will be responsible for inspiring others, communicating effectively, and ensuring the Centre's operational and financial deliverables are met.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, evacuation, and emergency procedures
  • Current CPR Certificate (or ability to successfully complete)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) (or ability to successfully complete)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Legal working rights in Australia
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate (or ability to successfully complete the course)
  • Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded

We know times are tough out there, and having to pay for a qualification isn't easy. If you're still keen to join our company and become a Venue Manager, we will be happy to pay for your qualification. We run lifeguard, First Aid, CPR, and swim teacher courses through Belgravia Academy.

We are looking for a Venue Manager that is outgoing and dedicated to doing a fantastic job. You must be great at customer service and able to work independently.
