The Role

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead our team at Ryan Mitchell Swim Centre during the summer season. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staff supervision, customer service, and ensuring the delivery of programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, including staff supervision and customer service
  • Ensure the delivery of programs and services, including pool operations and maintenance
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for leisure and customer service.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
  • Excellent communication skills with a flair for positive influencing and negotiating win-win outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation, evacuation and emergency procedures
  • Current CPR Certificate (or ability to successfully complete)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2) (or ability to successfully complete)
  • National Police Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Legal working rights in Australia
  • Prior experience in a leisure or customer service role
