Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker/Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the Toowoomba area and its surroundings.

In this role, you will work closely with our clients to help them with various aspects of daily living, including domestic tasks, social interactions, community access, and personal care. Your goal will be to promote their independence and quality of life in their own homes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a community setting (aged care, disability support, mental health, etc.)
  • A valid driver's license and access to your own comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification
  • Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including sleepovers
  • Certificate III/IV in Disability, Individual Support, or similar
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
  • Accredited medication unit (HLTHPS006 - Assist Clients with Medication)
