Job Title: Chief Operations Officer

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for overseeing the entire Quality Assurance process, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance and timely product release.

  • Leading a high-performing team to achieve business objectives.
  • Developing and implementing QA processes, conducting research on new technologies to enhance seed quality and integrity.
  • Safeguarding seed quality through audits, genetic purity testing, and GM/non-GM assessments.
  • Maintaining alignment with the global quality framework.

Frequent travel across Australia will be required to inspect production sites, with occasional international opportunities to connect with global partners and programs.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have hands-on experience in production agriculture, preferably within the seed sector, with strong knowledge of seed quality and analysis.

You should also possess a solid understanding of plant science and its application in QC testing programs, as well as proven leadership skills and exceptional organisational abilities.
