What Your Day Will Look Like….
You'll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, working closely with the Chief Executive to anticipate needs, navigate complex issues, and drive forward initiatives that matter. Your day will involve engaging with leaders across the health service, facilitating high-level discussions, and representing the Chief Executive in key forums. You'll provide expert advice, craft insightful briefs, and manage sensitive communications with stakeholders including government and non-government organisations. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll foster a collaborative and outcomes-focused culture, ensuring the Office of the Chief Executive runs smoothly and effectively. Every moment will be an opportunity to lead with purpose, influence positive change, and support the delivery of safe, high-quality care to our communities.

Darling Downs Health's (DDH) region is a large geographic area covering approximately 90,000 square kilometres across Southeast Queensland. We are one of the largest employers in the region, with a diverse team of more than 6,000 staff. We deliver frontline health services across our 30 facilities and care for nearly 300,000 people, support the birth of almost 3,000 babies and perform more than 15,000 breastscreens.
