Key responsibilities will include:

* Advising on all legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, venture capital, and other strategic transactions, including corporate structuring, due diligence, negotiation, documentation, and integration.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks in business transactions and activities.
* Providing strategic legal guidance on market expansion, new product launches, and other business development initiatives.
* Staying informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company and proactively advising management on potential legal risks and implications.

What you will bring to the role:

* 10+ years post-qualification experience with relevant experience at a top-tier law firm or relevant in-house experience.
* Admitted as a lawyer to practice in Australia.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
* High degree of commercial acumen to understand the business' key drivers.
* Demonstrated adherence to a high standard of professional principles to ensure honesty, integrity, and ethical decision-making in all situations.
