Clinical Nurse Specialists play a vital role in supporting individuals and families affected by Huntington's Disease.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with medical professionals, allied health, and community services to deliver integrated, evidence-based care.
This involves delivering specialised case management and clinical support to individuals and families impacted by Huntington's Disease.
Coordinate care across community, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Provide education and therapeutic interventions.
Collaborate with health professionals and support services to ensure holistic, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:- Current knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and practices in mental health services and/or Huntington's Disease Services.
- Ability to apply nursing principles in line with legal and ethical requirements and the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Board (ANMB) National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses.
- Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in mental health nursing, including assertive case management, triage, holistic physical and mental health assessment, clinical risk management, and crisis intervention within the community setting.
The successful candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
