Customer Service Role for Events

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a customer service staff member.

About the Position

This is a casual, on-call role perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and take pride in delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for greeting and engaging attendees, assisting with general enquiries and frequently asked questions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage attendees, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Scan tickets and manage guest entry smoothly and efficiently
  • Assist with crowd control to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow
  • Check in registered guests and verify their details
  • Coordinate closely with catering to meet strict service deadlines
  • Communicate real-time event updates to venue staff as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional front-of-house area
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a customer service or events-based role
  • Strong attention to detail and clear, confident communication skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to multitask under pressure
  • Flexibility to work on a casual, on-call basis, including evenings and weekends
