Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled lawyer to join our Corporate and Commercial section. The ideal candidate will have experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, and commercial contracting.

  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A);
  • Equity capital markets (ECM) transactions;
  • Joint ventures, offtake and farm-ins;
  • Regulatory, compliance and corporate governance advice;

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to provide commercially focused legal advice to clients. They will be responsible for drafting transaction documents, assisting with due diligences, and providing regulatory and compliance advice.

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years' post-admission experience gained in a corporate and commercial law practice;
  • Experience in the energy and resources sector, including a strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations;
  • Corporate/commercial law experience (including transaction document drafting and assisting with due diligences);
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, research and communication skills;
  • Outstanding attention to detail;
  • A genuine passion for and interest in contributing to the growth and success of our corporate practice, both in Perth and nationally; and
  • A team-player who can also work autonomously, within a supportive and collaborative environment.
