Job Title: Care Support Professional

Job Description:

Care support professionals play a vital role in enabling older members of the community to live independently. This role involves providing personalized support and care to clients, empowering them to maintain their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general housekeeping and personal care services to clients
  • Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Help clients get out of bed, showered, and dressed for the day
  • Support mobility and therapy goals
  • Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
  • Offer social and emotional support to clients
  • Transport clients to lifestyle activities or appointments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold an Australian Driver's Licence and own insured, roadworthy vehicle
  • Possess Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
  • Have experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with expertise in personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications
