Medical Officer in Anaesthesia Position

We are currently looking for a suitably trained and experienced medical professional to join our team at CMO level in Anaesthesia. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe anesthesia care for patients undergoing upper and lower GI Endoscopy in the Endoscopy suite at Gosford and/or Wyong Hospitals.
About the Role
The successful candidate will provide safe anesthesia care for patients undergoing upper and lower GI Endoscopy, assist with delivery of the endoscopy service and contribute to teaching and Clinical Practice Improvement.
Requirements
- Must hold MBBS or equivalent qualification and be registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate category.
- Requires completion of minimum 5 postgraduate years as a medical officer in an Australian hospital setting and must have practiced Anaesthesia in an Australian Hospital for a minimum of 2 years out of the past 3 years.
- Must demonstrate commitment to teaching and clinical practice improvement.
- Must have demonstrated capacity to perform clinical anaesthesia duties and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written), computer skills along with evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to self-education.
- Must be able to apply excellent clinical skills, knowledge and judgement.
