We are seeking a qualified medical officer to join our anaesthesia department at Gosford Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for suitably trained and experienced medical officers interested in working at CMO level in anaesthesia. Our team values staff development and provides opportunities for growth and support throughout your career with us.
The successful applicant will provide safe anesthesia care for patients undergoing upper and lower GI Endoscopy in the Endoscopy suite at Gosford and/or Wyong Hospitals. Both suites are located immediately adjacent to the Operating Suite and share the same PACU. Supervision, advice and assistance is available from consultants in the Operating Suite.
About Our DepartmentOur Anaesthetic Department has over 70 consultants and 36 FTE Trainees. We offer regular clinical teaching, workshops, and educational links with other hospitals. Our training scheme also includes rotations to Dubbo & Coffs Harbour.
We are an accredited training site for the DRGA and have a strong focus on education and professional development.

Wyong Hospital is a regional acute hospital providing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services to residents in the northern part of the NSW Central Coast.
