Lead Orthopaedic Surgeon Opportunity

Our health service seeks a highly skilled and experienced Lead Orthopaedic Surgeon to oversee the clinical governance, service development, quality improvement, and training for junior doctors and trainees in our busy and expanding Orthopaedic Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and oversight of orthopaedic services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Mentor and supervise junior doctors and trainees
Requirements
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Orthopaedics)
  • Current AHPRA specialist registration
  • Demonstrated expertise in clinical governance, service development, and quality improvement
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
