This role is a crucial part of ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of manufacturing processes.
You will play a key role in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities to optimize workflows and minimize downtime.
The ideal candidate will have experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage the maintenance schedule to ensure all resources are effectively allocated.
- Take full control of maintenance planning, including direct management of external contractors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and report maintenance activities, contributing to compliance and operational excellence.
- Lead significant maintenance initiatives such as shutdowns and outages, demonstrating effective planning and resource allocation.
- Analyze maintenance data to identify improvement areas and develop strategies to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
- Participate actively in maintenance strategy development, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs, setting new benchmarks in maintenance excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certification in maintenance planning and scheduling, such as CMRP or similar, is advantageous.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Proficiency in using CMMS (ideally Maximo) and other maintenance planning tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) are required. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and lead without direct authority.
- Technical understanding of maintenance work processes and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation and drawings.
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance and experience in implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Familiarity with standard maintenance practices, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop solutions to enhance maintenance operations and equipment reliability.
- Ability to represent the organization's interests, objectives, and policies in a professional and responsible manner.
