Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Health Protection will provide strategic leadership to the regulation and delivery of health protection activities for the Northern Territory. This includes environmental health strategy and service delivery, radiation protection, medicines and poisons, and restrictive behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement health protection strategies to ensure the health and safety of the Northern Territory community.
  • Lead a team of health protection professionals to deliver high-quality services and programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of health protection activities.
  • Provide expert advice on health protection matters to the Department of Health and other stakeholders.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in health protection and a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Remuneration Package: $247,170
