Senior Sales Professional

About the Role

A dynamic sales expert is needed to drive business growth and customer satisfaction in our territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in technology sales, with a proven ability to cultivate relationships and exceed targets.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with key stakeholders, leveraging consultative selling skills to address hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems needs. Our successful candidate will be responsible for meeting with influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels to present our value proposition.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can collaborate with our team to design and position compelling solutions that drive down total cost of ownership. This includes working with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate best-in-class solutions.

The successful candidate will establish and manage key channel relationships in their territory, formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic business reviews, and conduct demand generation activities such as networking events and seminars.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceed measurable sales objectives and extend our brand within your assigned territory.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach with key client stakeholders to address hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems needs.
  • Meet with influencers, decision-makers, and C-levels to present our value proposition.
  • Work with our team to design and position compelling solutions that drive down total cost of ownership.
  • Collaborate with technology partners to identify prospects and demonstrate best-in-class solutions.
  • Establish and manage key channel relationships in your territory.
  • Formulate strategic and tactical account plans based on periodic business reviews.
  • Conduct demand generation activities such as happy hours, lunch-n-learns, and technology forums.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Hunter mentality with a proven track record of technology sales, including cultivating relationships with existing customers and penetrating new logo accounts.
  • Influencer with the ability to act as a trusted advisor, delivering business value to end users and key business stakeholders.
  • Strong rolodex and relationships within the territory.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent, plus 5+ years of technology sales experience.
  • Proven track record of direct selling into commercial and enterprise accounts within the assigned territory and exceeding sales targets.
  • Relevant data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN) industry background.
