We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Civil Structures team in Newcastle. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing deliverables ranging from condition investigation reports to presentation of analyses and design documentation in accordance with Australian standards and client specifications. You will also supervise and support junior engineers in their work.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Water, Transportation, and/or Energy infrastructure projects and a strong competency in project and commercial management. You will be a mature engineer with the ability to identify constraints, opportunities, and buildability issues based upon site conditions, analysis, experience, and judgement. You will also have the capability to undertake/lead/oversee the development of structural analysis and design, prepare written design reports, and other technical documentation in a manner which is clear, concise, professional and appropriate to the intended audience.

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
  • Key Skills: Extensive experience with a focus on Water, Transportation and/or Energy Infrastructure projects, strong competency in project and commercial management, mature engineering judgement, capability to undertake/lead/oversee the development of structural analysis and design, and ability to prepare written design reports and other technical documentation.
