Structural Engineering Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in Newcastle, Australia. As a key member of our structural team, you will be responsible for designing and documenting structural engineering solutions that meet the requirements of Australian Standards and industry best practice.

About the Role

  • Design and document structural engineering solutions for a range of projects, including residential, commercial, water infrastructure, industrial, and civil structures.
  • Mentor junior staff in structural engineering and review structural models, calculations, specifications, and drawings.
  • Prepare high-quality reports and other related documents.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other engineering teams and disciplines to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of structural design software such as SPACEGASS, Strand7, RAPT, and Inducta.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
