Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Operations Manager to join our team in South Australia and Northern Territory. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive your career further and gain industry-relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operation of the laboratory in accordance with Fulton Hogan's safety, quality, environmental, and other policies.
- Oversee the NATA requirements for asphalt, binders, and emulsion laboratories and maintain the NATA accreditation of all central laboratories.
- Engage, train, lead, develop, and ensure relevant certification is held by laboratory staff.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement in laboratory operations.
- Review targets, costs, and work procedures regularly to ensure tasks are being carried out effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or advanced diploma in civil engineering, engineering geology, or related qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in construction materials testing.
- Strong knowledge of NATA's requirements, Australian standards, and local road authorities.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and knowledge of QestLab would be an advantage.
