Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Midwifery Educator to join our dynamic team at Werribee Mercy Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with the Learning Manager and Program Lead to provide clinical support and learning activities across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think innovatively. They will be responsible for developing and delivering education programs, working closely with clinical support midwives to ensure that undergraduate, graduate, and other staff members are supported across maternity services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support and learning activities across the organization
  • Develop and deliver education programs
  • Work closely with clinical support midwives to ensure adequate support for staff members
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Midwife/Nurse with AHPRA
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Post-graduate Qualification in Education or working towards (highly desirable)
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications and experience
  • Knowledge of contemporary midwifery issues
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Innovative approaches to problem-solving
