About the Role:

As a career guide, you will support individuals with disability, injury, or health conditions as they prepare for a meaningful career, guiding them through the job-readiness journey and helping them build confidence, develop skills, and achieve career goals.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with clients as they plan their next career steps, providing support to find the right job along the way.
  • Build strong relationships to understand each client's goals, strengths, and support needs.
  • Provide tailored coaching and regular check-ins to maintain motivation and progress.
  • Connect participants with upskilling opportunities, hands-on experience, and group-based activities.
  • Collaborate with employers and community services to open pathways to employment and training.
  • Meet internal and external performance benchmarks.
  • Champion values of inclusion, empowerment, and person-centred practice.
About You:

You bring empathy, energy, and a strong drive to make a difference. You have experience or a genuine passion for employment services. You're confident supporting people, building trust, and guiding them toward meaningful and sustainable careers. You're outcomes-focused, highly organised, and thrive in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

Essential Criteria:
  • Qualifications in Employment or Human Services – desirable
  • Experience in employment services and supporting people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • Ability to meet KPIs and create client-focused employment and skills plans
  • Confident marketing clients to employers and facilitating group programs
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of disability legislation, support strategies, and labour market trends
  • Current Driver's License - essential
