AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Geoscientist to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role. As a key member of our contaminated land and hydrogeology team, you will be responsible for working on a broad range of projects, including contaminated land and groundwater investigations, remediation, and management.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Oversee project-level health and safety, conduct desktop reviews, prepare environmental reports, and manage safety and environmental compliance on-site.
- Site Management: Plan, schedule, and manage site works, including subcontractor coordination, site contamination, and hydrogeological investigations in various locations.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation: Collect and manage environmental samples, perform data analysis, and interpret results using relevant software tools.
- Office-Based Tasks: Assist in project management tasks, project controls and financial tracking, as well as technical report writing and management of deliverables.
- Tertiary Qualification: Tertiary qualification in environmental science, geoscience, geology, engineering, or hydrogeology.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years' experience in contaminated land management and/or hydrogeology, with a focus on safety and subcontractor management.
- Skills: Strong skills in data management using industry-standard tools and project/proposal management.
- Other: Willingness to work remotely on client sites; a valid driver's license is essential.
