Environmental Geoscientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Geoscientist to join our team at AECOM. As a key member of our environmental practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve compliance, manage impacts, and reduce or eliminate risks associated with contaminated land and groundwater projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, geoscience, or a related field, with a minimum of 2+ years' experience in contaminated land management and/or hydrogeology. You will be responsible for overseeing project-level health and safety, conducting desktop reviews, preparing environmental reports, and managing safety and environmental compliance on-site.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, and manage site works, including subcontractor coordination, site contamination, and hydrogeological investigations in various locations.
- Collect and manage environmental samples, perform data analysis, and interpret results using relevant software tools.
- Act as Site Manager, ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining site documentation, and logging geological data to required standards.
- Office based tasks include assisting in project management tasks, project controls and financial tracking, as well as technical report writing and management of deliverables.
