Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled medical professional to join our team as a Visiting Medical Officer in Gastroenterology. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

This position is part of an on-call roster, including emergency endoscopy procedures for Central Coast Local Health District. You will provide clinical management and consultation services to patients with conditions applicable to the sub-specialty of Gastroenterology at Gosford Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical management and consultation services to patients with Gastroenterology conditions
  • Participate in an on-call roster, including emergency endoscopy procedures
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements:
  • Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent specialist recognition
  • Recognised specialist qualifications
  • Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Gastroenterology
  • Ability to work constructively and effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
