We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Learning Assistant in Performing Arts with technical theatre experience. This role will involve supporting the work of lecturers to ensure that learners receive high quality support and their individual requirements are met.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, be able to multi-task and work on their own initiative, while also being able to work effectively with other teams across the college.

This role requires technical theatre skills, specifically lighting and sound, and the ability to provide technical support for both student and other theatre performances and events. The postholder will also be responsible for ensuring that the learning environment is effectively maintained.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of learners.

As part of this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in areas such as conflict resolution, communication and teamwork.

Please note that this role may require you to work weekends and evenings to support some weekend and evening hiring of facilities and events.

The salary for this role is Band E (£31,586 to £33,389 per annum pro rata), and appointment is usually made at the first point of the scale.
