Consultant Neurologist for Maternity Leave Cover

Austin Health is a leading provider of tertiary health services, health professional education, and research across Melbourne. As a Consultant Neurologist, you will join our team to cover a 12-month maternity leave position.
About the RoleWe offer opportunities in general epilepsy management, first seizure clinic, EEG reporting, neuromodulation management, and headache management, including botulinum toxin administration. Proficiency in epilepsy or headache management is essential.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of our neurology department. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, and a keen interest in developing your skillset.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Demonstrated engagement, teamwork, and collaboration
- Effective communication skills at all levels
- Understanding of and commitment to Clinical Governance
