About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Financial Planning & Analysis professional to join our team at our head office in Balcatta. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the financial sustainability of our aged care services through accurate reporting, strategic analysis, and meaningful stakeholder engagement.

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and analysis across multiple aged care funding streams.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance, support effective grant management, and provide key financial insights that guide strategic decisions and long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing Annual Consolidated Financial Reports (ACFR) and Profit & Loss (P&L) reports across all care streams.
  • Compiling Quarterly Financial Reports (QFR) for internal and external use.
  • Conducting financial benchmarking and submissions, including Stewart Brown.
  • Performing monthly P&L reviews, variance analysis, and trend forecasting.
  • Delivering ad hoc Prophix reporting and support for Board and executive updates.
  • Developing financial reports for grant agreements and government obligations.
  • Preparing and maintaining annual budgets and reforecasts for HCP, TCP, and NATSIFAC.
  • Conducting rolling forecasts and scenario modelling.
  • Aligning budgets with service delivery in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Resolving financial queries from community teams and grant stakeholders.
  • Delivering training on reporting tools and financial systems.
  • Engaging with grant providers and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
  • Managing financial allocations and segment-aligned journal postings.
  • Preparing semi-annual NATSIFAC reports and overseeing grant expenditure tracking.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CA qualification (highly desirable).
  • In-depth knowledge of aged care sector regulations and funding models.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with auditors and funding bodies.
  • Proficiency in systems such as Epicor, Medius, AvantCare, Prophix, PowerBi.
  • Advanced financial analysis and modelling skills.
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
