We are seeking an experienced professional to join our healthcare team as an Administrative Assistant, providing support services to patients and staff.
About the Position:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a dynamic hospital environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing admissions and discharges to ensure effective bed management and utilisation.
- Coordinating incoming and outgoing calls to the ward.
- Providing timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.
- Working alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a seamless hospital experience for patients.
- Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in an administration hospital-based role.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Intermediate-advanced skills utilising Microsoft Office Suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy.
- High level time management and organisational skills.
- Certificate in Medical terminology highly regarded.
- A professional and personable disposition.
- Ability to work within a team environment and multitask.
- Willingness to learn and the ability to grasp concepts with ease.
