Job Opportunity:

You will have the opportunity to work as a care professional, supporting adults with disabilities in their daily lives. The role involves providing quality support and promoting choice and control for our participants.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic and rewarding role that requires a caring and supportive individual who can work with adults with varying levels of ability. You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, following health and behaviour support plans, and helping participants to achieve their goals. The role also involves supporting participants to develop life skills such as travel training, budgeting and safe relationships.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care with dignity when required
  • Following health and behaviour support plans
  • Supporting participants to increase and develop skills
  • Assisting participants to achieve their goals

Requirements:
  • Available to work on a rotating roster 7am-9am weekdays and 9am-4pm Saturdays
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 and above) and access to a car
  • Good understanding of person-centred active support or willingness to embrace this model of support
  • Comfortable supporting adult clients with intellectual disabilities, verbal behaviours, and mental health diagnoses
