The role involves visiting clients in their own homes, assisting with daily tasks, and providing companionship. You will be working closely with clients who require assistance with personal care, domestic duties, and social activities.

  • Personal care such as assisting with showering, or other personal support and providing medication assistance
  • Domestic assistance, such as basic housekeeping and shopping
  • Shopping and meal preparation

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A reliable and trustworthy individual
  • Compassionate towards clients and colleagues
  • An effective communicator with people of all ages
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop further
Qualifications and Certifications

You must hold (or obtain through recruitment process) the following qualifications:

  • Australian Federal Police clearance (no disclosable outcomes)
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Certificate III Individual Support Ageing, Disability or Home and Community Care (or equivalent qualification)
  • Drivers Licence, with safe driving record
  • Current car registration & comprehensive insurance
  • Working with Children Check Clearance
  • COVID 19 vaccination, including booster
