Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bakery Team Leader to join our team at our Rochedale store in South Brisbane. As a Bakery Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of the bakery department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a small team of bakery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
  • Create and manage rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize labor costs.
  • Generate orders and manage inventory to ensure efficient stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Conduct regular stock takes and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction in the bakery department.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager and other department managers to achieve sales and customer service goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards and quality control measures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a bakery or retail management role.
  • Proven track record of managing a team and achieving sales and customer service goals.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
