Chief Financial and Administrative Officer for Education Support Centre

The Role: Manager Corporate ServicesAs our ideal candidate, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, which will enable you to effectively collaborate with our leadership team, staff, parents, and the broader community. Previous experience in a similar role within an Education Support School environment is highly desirable.
You will be responsible for using sound financial management skills, including budget preparation, and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures. The successful applicant should provide consistency for financial planning and budgeting within the school and ideally possess an excellent knowledge of Department Policies and Guidelines.
In this role, you will work strategically with the leadership team to ensure effective workforce planning and the targeted use of resources. You should be an experienced administrator with clear knowledge of how the Manager of Corporate Services role impacts and is guided by the school improvement model.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring compliance with Department policies and guidelines.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the leadership team, staff, and parents, ensuring efficient and effective day-to-day operations.
- Human Resource Management: Develop and implement human resource plans, ensuring the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
- Demonstrated well-developed oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use effective negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated sound financial management skills, including budget preparation and the ability to interpret and apply financial and accounting practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated sound human resource management skills, including the ability to apply human resource management practices and systems.
Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
