Business Operations Support Officer

The APS4 Business and Operations Support Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the team, including facilities management, procurement, distribution of stores, asset management, exhibits management, fleet administration, and data entry.
The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, administrative staff, managers, and external partners to ensure that office operational outputs are supporting the ACIC's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- General facilities management, including escorting of contractors
- Procurement and management of office supplies and equipment
- Distribution of stores, including stationery, milk, toner cartridges, and WHS equipment
- Asset management, including maintenance and repair of office equipment
- Exhibits management, including setup and takedown of exhibits
- Fleet administration, including vehicle maintenance and fuel management
- Data entry and processing of financial information
Requirements:
- Sound organisational skills to prioritise tasks and produce timely outcomes
- Experience in business and/or customer service, including problem-solving
- Ability to source and manage information and provide advice to stakeholders
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal and team skills
- Demonstrated competency in ICT systems, including the Microsoft office suite
- Ability to work flexibly across a number of functional portfolios
Eligibility:
Citizenship: To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance: The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
Pre-Employment Screening: All candidates must satisfy an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to being offered employment at the ACIC.
