About the Role
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Support Officer to join their team. As a Business Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to staff, volunteers, and brigades. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring timely and appropriate provision of support, undertaking general office duties, responding to enquiries, coordinating and processing training records, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to staff, volunteers, and brigades.
- Undertake general office duties, including mail distribution, filing, diary control, travel arrangements, and maintenance of office equipment and asset records.
- Respond to enquiries from staff and volunteers relating to uniforms, equipment, and stationery.
- Coordinate and process training records, human resource, and finance administration activities.
- Liaise and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Utilise databases to create, update, analyse, and report on business activities.
