Job Opportunity:

Protech is seeking a proactive Site Coordinator to support their Mining and Maintenance Team at an open cut mine near Mackay. This key support role involves working closely with Account Managers to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.

The Site Coordinator will handle administrative tasks, maintain processes and reporting, support employee coaching, and ensure compliance. The successful candidate will also assist the Account Manager as needed, helping to maximize team capacity and client satisfaction.

The primary responsibilities include data entry and system administration in line with Protech standards, client monthly meetings, scanning and filing documents, assisting the Account Manager with on-going field employee management, preparing reports and data as requested from the Client and/or Account Manager, weekly timesheets, and assisting with a range of ad hoc tasks and errands as required.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Reside in the Mackay region
  • Ability to work on-site and from the Mackay Office
  • Demonstrated experience in Administration (Mining background highly regarded)
  • Intermediate experience with Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Outlook
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Goal-oriented and results-driven
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current drivers license

Role Location:

This position will be primarily based on-site, working the following roster:

  • Week 1: Monday-Wednesday (on-site), Thursday-Friday (Mackay Office)
  • Week 2: Monday-Tuesday (Mackay Office), Wednesday-Friday (on-site)
