We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud computing division, you will design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions for our clients.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and deployment of cloud-based systems, ensuring they meet the required security, scalability, and reliability standards.
In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, automation, and support.
You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices in cloud computing.
About This Role:
- Design, implement, and manage automated cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and related IaC tools.
- Lead the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Support secure and scalable cloud platforms across Azure and M365, with a strong focus on operational resilience.
- Align deployments with ACSC Essential 8 and ISM frameworks, supporting incident response and compliance.
- Mentor team members and embed DevOps best practices across infrastructure and automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver outcomes that align with organisational goals.
You Will Need:
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise cloud environments (Azure/M365), including provisioning, automation, and support.
- Deep knowledge of Terraform and/or Bicep for infrastructure deployment and configuration.
- Experience building and maintaining DevOps pipelines, infrastructure automation, and secure cloud operations.
- Familiarity with ACSC Essential 8, ISM, and government security protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python) for cloud operations and automation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly with technical and senior stakeholders.
