Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement and manage our organisation's cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting and designing AWS infrastructure solutions to meet organisational technical and business requirements.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise AWS services for cost performance, security and reliability while adhering to best practice and compliance standards.

  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS technologies
  • Collaborate with product owners and developers to identify and assess security controls in alignment with the PSPF, ISM, E8 and organisational policy
  • Work closely with senior leadership to coordinate cloud infrastructure projects and ensure alignment with organisational goals
  • Implement and maintain cloud security measures to protect against cyber threats and data breaches
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure solutions
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale cloud projects on time and within budget
  • Excellent knowledge of AWS services and features, including EC2, S3, Lambda and IAM
  • Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
